The film camera has always had its own intrinsic form. To overlook or disregard this form and its rhythm means missing the essence of the film. “I Suffocate” is a film that glides through nature, yet does not challenge its rhythm, but rather embraces it, allowing itself to embark on an inner journey with nature. As usual, “silence,” the most fundamental concept that peace can provide, characterizes the essence of the film. In this sense, the film is the first step toward a journey that can open doors leading to the possibility of detachment from the world. As always, the real film begins after the film itself.
